Why Do We Fart?
Let’s be honest — everybody farts. Even your teacher. Even your dog. Even YOU (yes, you!). But what is a fart, and why does it happen?
Let’s find out what’s going on inside your belly! 🧐
🍎 Food + Tummy = Gas
When you eat food, your body works hard to break it down in your stomach and intestines. While it’s working, it also makes gas — kind of like tiny bubbles.
That gas comes from:
✅ Food being digested
✅ Air you swallowed while chewing
✅ Special bacteria in your tummy that help you process food
When too much gas builds up, your body says: “Let’s let it out!” — and you fart.
It’s like your tummy burping… but from the other end! 😆
😷 Why Does It Sometimes Smell?
Most of the time, farts are just air with no smell. But certain foods (like eggs, beans, or broccoli) can make smelly gas — thanks to a little gas called sulfur.
That’s why some farts stink more than others. It’s totally normal!
So remember:
Farts are just gas leaving your body. It means your belly is working like it should! Just be polite — and maybe say “excuse me” after! 😄💨
